This is an elegant vintage chocolate brown silk jersey Givenchy "couture" evening gown with sublime beading and amber sequins. This wonderful vintage dress is from Hubert de Givenchy's last collection in Spring of 1996. On the runway it was worn with a long scarf and brown belt (not included).

The halter bodice has beautiful, unique sequins that are made of a thin faux tortoise shell and cork, and the beads are wood. This vintage halter dress is fully lined and closes with a hook and eye and snaps down the center back.

We love Hubert de Givenchy and the sophistication of his designs and this dress is a beautiful example of his talent. It is in excellent condition, missing 4 wooden beads along the seam near the zipper as shown in last photo.

Marked a French Size 36 and made in France. Estimated US Size: Extra Small
