A beautiful hand made cheongsam-style cocktail dress in dark plum shantung silk.

The cheongsam style was created in Shanghai in the 1920s and worn by fashionable women to accentuate the figure.  This fitted sleeveless sheath dress features a mandarin collar with traditional side front fastening of matching covered buttons, and distinctive, flattering scalloped armhole edges.  It is below knee length with single side split to the thigh, and fully lined with lighter toned silk.
